Band - Railcars

Railcars is a San Francisco-based art rock project of Aria C Jalali, featuring Biljana Mirkovski, Dasha Bulatova, and Shaw Waters. After releasing an EP on Filthy Little Angels records in 2006, Jalali gained notoriety for the fact that his music was self produced.However, since then Jalali teamed up with Xiu Xiu front man Jamie Stewart to produce his follow up EP "Cities vs Submarines" in 2008, which was hailed as a great "experimental pop" success. Jalali has said he will be teaming with Stewart again to produce his next album, "The cathedral that was dark and grey and without sight." Railcars' music is described as having "pastel-coloured vocals suitably warped, but with a low-cut frenetic backdrop surrounding them."
