Band - Riserva Moac

...is a musical collective composed by seven musicians from Bojano, in the country of Molise, little region in the centre-south of Italy. The band proposes an optimal feeling between traditional and contemporary music, with a particular mixture of traditional and popular acoustic instruments from many parts of the world (zampogna, ciaramella, whistles, gaita, zurna) and modern sounds with reasoned effects. Its target of particular arrangements joins to the searched necessity to attract the listener, integrating sounds and languages. The result is an union between engages, deep and never banal lyrics, comunicated by using an alternance of male and feminine voices, and a sound made of profuse energy, heart and sweat. All in an atmosphere of shared passion.
Thanks to a great number ol national and international live performances, Riserva Moac soon becomes an emergent band in the independent musica scene.
“Bienvenido”, the first record of the band and an invite to take part in this nomad village, saw the light in the Summer of 2005. The record, after one year, needs of a second editino, reaching in this way the 10.000 sold copies. So a long series of concerts starts, reaching the most important results and moments with the participation to the great concert of the First May in Rome (800.000 people), to the Arezzo Wave Love Festival, the biennal of young artists of Europe and Mediterranean sea, the Mei in Faenza, the Mantova Music Festival, the Folkontest, the Matese Friend Festival.. The live force and the dynamics of the band, whose concerts are characterized of a remarkable sonorous and scenic impact, is able of a great involvement of the public, and attracts attention also in international contests.
In 2004, in France, the band partecipates as italian representative, to the “Festival Interceltique de Lorient”, winning the "Trophee Dagan Celtic Cider", a special price for the best european band of the festival. Of 2006, in France again, is the partecipation to the Festival International de Musique Universitaire - FIMU 2006 (XX Edition), in the city of Belfort. .In the same year, the Riserva Moac increases its borders with a tour in USA, reaching Boston, New York, Springfield MA. Last but not least, Riserva Moac played in Germany in July 2008 at the TFF of Rudolstadt, in three concerts very, very full of energy and heart.
